Posing is very common for pictures and for fun. People like to pose at events. Could posing and pretending make us feel better?
What does posing do to us?
Posing can make you feel strong and powerful. They may help you feel better. Researchers tested people who stood or sat in a pose for a minute. They found that in these people they had hormones that made them feel strong. The body created hormones as they posed. The hormone gives the feeling of being strong.

The poses made these people make more hormones. After posing, they felt stronger. Posing can change how you feel.
Don’t just pose for the picture, pose for yourself!
When you are picking team members to work with on a project, do you always pick those who agree with every opinion of yours? Consider for a moment the benefits you could reap from a team member who has a different vision. Sometimes when things go too well, we progress so fast we miss the blind spots. Friction creates conflict, which can be unpleasant sometimes, but friction can also be the ladder to greatness.

Diana is excited about landing her first job at a major law firm. She has been to at least half a dozen interviews over the past couple of weeks. She is a lawyer.
