The boys are talking about an upcoming talent show. Oliver is planning on singing a song, but his classmate, Tom, does not think his performance will be good enough. The brothers have more dangerous plans, like knife-throwing and karate.
We laid an egg.
I am walking on eggs / egg shells.
Break a leg.
Let’s talk turkey.
You don’t have to be a mother hen
What’s done is done.
You can’t unscramble the eggs.
When you have something to say, say it concisely. If words are useless, don’t say anything at all. Don’t interrupt when people are talking. If you really need to be heard, ask for permission first. Don’t ask questions that you know will embarrass others. Don’t monopolize the conversation. Leave a chance for others to participate.

Little girls like to try on Mommy’s high heels and little boys like to use Daddy’s hair gel. It is fun for children to play make-believe as grown-ups. This is the first sign that they want to matter more. Adults sometimes feel the same. Those who are not satisfied with small achievements go on to aim higher. It is our inclination to get ahead, which is also what drives our community forward.
