This I Thought was True
Success Means Being Good At What You Do And Nothing Else

Success means being good at what you do and nothing else. This I thought was true. There are two things that most successful people have in common. First, they are masters at their crafts. Second, at some point in their lives, they met the right people who can help them and didn’t behave like a jerk. There are very many beautiful girls in the world, way more than the number of supermodels. The difference sometimes is just luck. Harrison Ford, a Hollywood superstar for 40 years, was unknown for the first decade of his career. So he quit and became a carpenter. He installed George Lucas’ cabinets and they became friends. George Lucas then cast him in Star Wars. Success stories often come with luck, but we need to be prepared when luck comes. If Harrison Ford had gained 100 pounds when he met George Lucas, do you think his life would be the same?
